Frequently asked questions
A: At Autumn Tails, we understand that saying goodbye to your beloved pet is an incredibly emotional experience. After your pet is euthanized, we take great care to handle their remains with the utmost respect and compassion. We offer several options to meet your needs and preferences. You may choose to have your pet's remains cremated, with the option of a private cremation if you wish to keep the ashes as a memorial. Alternatively, communal cremation is available if you do not wish to retain the ashes. For those who prefer burial, we can assist you with finding the right place. Throughout the process, our focus is on providing a compassionate and respectful experience, ensuring that your pet's final moments are treated with dignity and care. If you have any other specific wishes or need further guidance, our team is here to support you during this difficult time.
The choice of who to have with you is deeply personal. Many families choose to include supportive family members or close friends who wish to be present. Older children can be included if you feel it is appropriate for them, and other pets in the home are also welcome to be nearby.
If a loved one cannot attend in person, they are welcome to join via Zoom or FaceTime, so they can still share in the moment and say goodbye.
